October 19th 2009 -
“The women’s apparel market can be finicky so we keep the collections mainstream, deliver a full fit and make the line in-stock so fill-ins are easy,” said Tracy Wilson, Brand Director, Kate Lord “Our customers really like the line and because it is easy to coordinate with other lines, it has been a staple in a lot of golf shops.”
Kate Lord Collections: Each
collection features a variety of polos from 100 percent jersey cotton to hybrid
performance polos featuring moisture wicking fabrics, COOLMAX® technology and an
odor protection finish. The new collections will be available
Ø Bubblegum: the collection features a mix of classic colors black and white with a splash of bubblegum. Ø Sapphire: a combination of navy, white and sapphire makes this collection easy to match with a Kate Lord skort or new microfiber pleat short. Ø Eggplant: a color palette of eggplant, white and concord makes this a soft, fashion statement on and off the course. Ø Black: the black and white color combination will bring a classic, sophisticated look to the wardrobe.
“Kate Lord adds excitement to the current golf apparel market with new trends such as eco-friendly fabrics, new technologies and lively color schemes,” said Tina Schipper, senior buyer, Broadmoor Resort and Spa, Broadmoor, Colo. “Kate Lord does an outstanding job at creating a great hand for their fabrics with their new pima cashmere feel while maintaining an accessible price point.”
All Kate Lord apparel can be customized using traditional embroidery or the revolutionary new ornamentation offerings such as the vintage label, woven appliqué label, the woven appliqué label with embroidery, or the popular rubber appliqué label.
