Company Will Donate $2.50 For Each Limited Edition Cap Sold To

Folds of Honor Foundation

NEW BEDFORD, Mass., August 8, 2008 -  AHEAD announced today that it has become a Merchandise Partner for the second annual Patriot Golf Day  to be held at participating golf courses around the country August 29 – September 1, 2008. AHEAD has designed a limited edition cap for Patriot Golf Day and will donate $2.50 for each cap sold to participating pro shops to the Folds of Honor Foundation.

“We are very pleased to support such a worthy cause,” said Ken Shwartz, CEO, AHEAD. “These men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting our freedom and we hope our participation in the Patriot Golf Day can help make a little difference in the lives of their spouses and children.”

AHEAD has designed two limited edition caps for Patriot Golf Day.  Both caps sport the F-16 “Viper” fighter jet Patriot Golf Day Logo on the front and the Fold of Honor Foundation words on the side.  The caps will be available in two styles — classic fit with metal buckle in bone and extreme fit with velcro tab in khaki. The AHEAD limited edition caps will be available at participating Patriot Golf Day courses for a suggested retail of $19.00.  AHEAD will give $2.50 for each cap sold to the Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund.  

PGA Professional Dan Rooney, an F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, is the founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation. Major Rooney has served two tours in Iraq, and will be returning for another tour this summer. The Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military service members disabled or killed in the line of duty.
