AHEAD To Participate in Patriot Golf Day Sept. 4-7

Company Will Donate $2.50 For Each Limited Edition Cap Sold To

Folds of Honor Foundation

 

NEW BEDFORD, Mass., July 28, 2009 - AHEAD announced today that it has become a Merchandise Partner for the third annual Patriot Golf Day to be held at participating golf courses Sept, 4-7, 2009. AHEAD has designed three limited edition caps for Patriot Golf Day and will donate $2.50 for each cap sold to participating golf shops to the Folds of Honor Foundation.

 

“We are very pleased to once again be part of Patriot Golf Day,” said Jeff Waller, National Sales Director, AHEAD. “These men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting our freedom and we hope our participation in the Patriot Golf Day can help make a little difference in the lives of their spouses and children.”

 

AHEAD offers three limited edition logo caps for Patriot Golf Day. The three logos available on the front of the cap are the F-16 “Viper” fighter jet logo, the F-16 “Viper” fighter jet logo with the Patriot Golf Day logo, and the Folds of Honor Foundation logo. Each cap will have the Folds of Honor Foundation words on the back of the cap. The caps will be available in two styles, classic fit or extreme fit and in the following colors; red, white, gold, bone, cobalt and navy. The AHEAD limited edition caps will be available at participating Patriot Golf Day courses for a suggested retail of $19.00.  AHEAD will give $2.50 for each cap sold to the Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund.  In 2008, AHEAD donated $5000 to the scholarship fund from this program.

 

PGA Professional Dan Rooney, an F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, is the founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation. Major Rooney has served three tours in Iraq. The Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military service members disabled or killed in the line of duty.
