AHEAD Re-Signs Golf Legend Jack Nicklaus

June 7th 2010 - AHEAD, the leader in branded headwear and apparel has announced today that it has re-signed golf legend Jack Nicklaus to represent the company’s headwear line. “Jack has been a great friend and wonderful representative of AHEAD,” said Ken Shwartz, president, AHEAD. “Jack could wear any cap he wanted to and for him to select AHEAD for the past several years is an incredible testimony to the quality of our product line and leadership role our company has in the industry. We appreciate his support and look forward to continuing our relationship.” Nicklaus, who turned 70 earlier this year, is considered the most decorated golfer of all time. He has recorded 118 worldwide victories, including a record 18 professional majors. He now spends his time as one of the world’s most acclaimed golf course designers. His company, Nicklaus Design, is considered the world leader, and the firm has close to 350 courses open for play in 34 countries and 39 states. The firm has created more than 60 courses ranked in various national and international top 100 lists, including such Nicklaus masterpieces as Muirfield Village, Shoal Creek, Castle Pines and Valhalla, among many others. Nicklaus Design currently has projects under construction or under development in 45 different countries. Nicklaus will continue to appear in AHEAD’s headwear catalog, point of sales materials and on the website. Representing AHEAD headwear on the PGA Tour in 2010 are Retief Goosen, Aaron Baddeley and Jim Furyk. |
