October 16th 2006 - Popular Women’s Line Debuts New Technical Performance Fabrics
The Kate Lord Collection, designed for women with an active lifestyle, has enjoyed double-digit growth since its debut in 2004. The success of the brand can be credited to the designers; they truly understand today’s active woman. The Kate Lord Collection offers an array of classic styles featuring soft cotton fabrics, along with new technical performance fabrics and bold, rich colors. In 2007, Kate Lord will offer more performance fabric polo shirts, more color options throughout the collection and a fashionable and functional outerwear collection that will complete any outfit.
Kate Lord Collection has introduced a new line of technical performance fabrics called KL CARE. The KL CARE collection features a combination of long lasting, rich, soft cotton polo shirts that look and perform great both on and off the course. Also new in the KL CARE collection are five stylish polo shirts and a pullover all featuring moisture wicking technology designed to keep you cool on hot days.
New KL CARE Performance and Technology  ¼ Zip Nailhead Solid Polo – A casual 100% polyester shirt with moisture wicking technology featuring the popular hidden zip front and short sleeve v-cut treatment. Available in four colors: hot pink, apple, periwinkle, and white.
 Dri-Balance Pima Mesh Back Color - An eye-catching polo made of 55% pima cotton/45% micro-poly featuring mesh back moisture wicking technology and raglan sleeve with color block piecing. Available in four bright color combinations.
 Pima Dri-Tech Pullover 1/4 Zip with 3/4 Sleeve - A versatile pullover made of 73% pima cotton/27% micro-poly with moisture wicking technology, featuring a hidden zip placket, 3/4 length sleeve and classic v-cut at cuff. Available in black, ocean, and white.
Dri-Tech Jacquard Stripe Polo – A classic stripe 4-button elongated placket made of 63% pima cotton and 37% micro-poly. The three moisture wicking striped polo shirts are available in ocean, black and hot pink.
Additional New Kate Lord Introductions Classic Pique Stripe V-Neck – A must for everyone’s wardrobe, this 100% combed cotton, 40’s two-ply striped knit polo shirt has a flat collar with cross over V placket and a princess seamed front and back. Available in five color combinations including hot pink and apple.
 Gingham Print Full Button Shirt – This sporty shirt looks great on the course and off. Featuring a 100% cotton gingham pattern with button cuff teardrop openings, this shirt is available in four colors, including ocean.

Kate Lord Outerwear  In addition to the KL CARE collection, Kate Lord Outerwear offers women a wide selection of performance and layering pieces that are both flattering and comfortable. New for 2007 is a reversible vest constructed of 100% micro-poly on one side and printed polar fleece with a no-pill finish on the other side. The vest comes in three colors that complement the striped fleece pattern.
To complete the 2007 Kate Lord Collection are stylish, raffia straw hats and assorted straw hats that are available with fashionable bands.
The entire 2007 Ahead Kate Lord collection can be customized using traditional embroidery or the revolutionary new ornamentation offerings such as the woven appliqué label, the woven appliqué label with embroidery, or the popular rubber appliqué label for outerwear garments.
